Pointeq hosts warehousing facilities and can provide excellent service to dispatch to 21 main centres.
As far as Checkout Terminals, Scanners and Printers are concerned, literally millions of units have been installed worldwide. Pointeq will only support and deal in recognised high quality products and suppliers.
Pointeq is setting up and configuring all systems at our Headquarters. All equipment is staged (real-time for a store/installation) and checked by us before being signed off. This process would be discussed with the customer to ensure that the desired standards are kept to/achieved. The equipment is serialized and documented. This information will be kept on our systems for future tracking, asset management and warranty purposes and be made available to the client.
Pointeq offers an attractive warranty on all products and an onsite warranty could be negotiated through the service company of choice. We will also work together with the Service Provider/s to ensure that the correct stock and parts are available to support the SLA. Standardisation also enables Pointeq to offer volume discounts, service level improvements and systems designed for services to drive revenue needs.
Pointeq can offer a 24 x 7 x 365 Help Desk for Contract customers. Every customer will have an agreed Service Level Agreement which will stipulate response times, level of support, restore time, loan equipment etc.
This encompasses the ongoing maintenance of systems and the availability of spares. Pointeq proposes using PC base units with a standard platform. This would involve a base unit with specific motherboards, CPU’s and RAM. Standardisation is a key issue, and the fact that technology is changing rapidly, the fact that motherboards, CPU’s, hard drives, memory etc. are continually changing over time, Pointeq would involve our client on a quality control system to evaluate and test all devices before implementation and ensure that systems are standardised.
